In other words, while it seems that all Aliyah has come to a stop, for us to keep preparing. Keep moving on. Keep getting ready.
‘Dig Trenches so that He may fill them!’
This is the Word the Lord has repeated to us over and over.
It was quite the battle this week getting it here.
(As some of you know who prayed ALL day with us!!)
The assigned driver decided to NOT show up (and not call OR answer calls).
Chaim, the donor of the container, drove an hour to meet him and waited almost 8 hours for something to work out. This was during our horrible winter storm in driving rain. Plus, the gate where the trailer was stored was only going to be open on THAT day. (PTL it worked out to open again the next day!)
Phill, our translator, was taking calls all day, relaying messages and trying his best to find a new driver. I realized later, he has IFFY reception in his house and he was running up and down his stairs to the street with each call!
Kobi, the replacement driver, was amiable as plans changed 3 times. He was flexible AND a driver showed up on time the next day!
The morning of delivery there was NO rain.
It was actually quite lovely. So much better to not have to set up in the pouring rain!
There were many miracles and graces throughout the two days and we are SO grateful to all who fought this battle with us! We know you are rejoicing also!
Nissim sees this container as a grand part of ‘digging trenches’.-preparation for only God knows what.
And now we wait for God to fill it. Miraculously, Sovereignly. Amazingly!
So we dedicate this simple metal box to the Lord for HIS purposes.
For HIS provision for the future.
For HIS glory!
