Emergency – From Ukraine to Israel

‘For Such a Time as This’

As Hadassah awoke on Shabbat morning. these were the words her burdened heart heard whispered in her ear. Such a tender encouragement for us to carry the heart of the Lord for the Jews of the Ukraine.

Then she saw the flag of the Ukraine with Yeshua walking with outstretched arms, gathering the Jewish people like His sheep, It was as though His arms were the fisherman’s net- saving them from the hunters.

For such a time as this…. He has placed His burden in our hearts.
For such a time as this…. He has been preparing us heart & soul
For such a time as this…. He will be glorified!

As you know, Russia has attacked the Ukraine. For the most part, the Ukrainians didn’t believe that they would actually follow through and so most were not ready. As a result, thousands have fled the country or are trying to get across the borders.

Sadly, and shamefully, the Rabbis did not encourage the Jewish community to take advantage of Israel’s offers to come home – quickly. Many are making their way to Poland where teams from Ebenezer Operation Exodus (and other groups) are making safe houses. The problems at the borders are multiple. Visas, passports, finances, transportation, food, beddings – all are urgent prayer needs. (we are on the board of Ebenezer Israel and are sending financial support to the team making their way to the borders)

His Lighthouse is preparing to receive Olim when they finally are able to make their way here. We have already received questions of if we have space! (at this time we have space for 6-8 people)

There is still much to do to be more ready. And we turn to you.
Prayer- thorough, persistent, supplications are desired to see our provision in our small part of this emergency; we will share the prayer points here

  1. Guidance. We need to hear clearly from the Lord. To not be anxious but to lift all to Him and remain in His peace.
  2. Where is our next facility to be found? A house? A hostel?
  3. Volunteers to help run a facility and with other tasks (The doors are open now so it is an opportune time to come)
  4. Provisions of food, bedding, household goods, to fill the container plus more
  5. Finances for all of the above.
  6. Above all, more intercessors to come on board and help carry this burden to the Lord until He finishes His work.
  7. Prayers for the safety of the Jews as they travel to leave Ukraine and continue on to Israel. Sadly, at this time any man aged 16-60 will NOT be allowed to leave the country as they will be conscripted into the army. There is much to bring before the Lord.

Jeremiah 16 time of the hunters is upon the Ukrainian Jews. Let’s carry them home on our shoulders in prayer.

GOD IS IN CONTROL! INTERCEEDING!!
