So Much Happening!

Prayers for protection for soldiers and civilians.

A New Immigrant (Olah Hadasha)
“A” came to live at His Lighthouse just after Sukkot. From the United States, she came to make a new home in Israel. As always the process is slow with many setbacks and delays. While wading through the red tape and delays, the Lord was doing a refining work and strengthening her faith. Finally, “A” received her citizenship. It was wonderful to watch the difference in her countenance! She walks with a much lighter step having ‘made it through’! Thank you for your prayers for her success- and for all those in the future that Abba will bring through our doors!

An Evening Thanking God
We hosted the first His Lighthouse Alumni Dinner February 10th with about 12 people in attendance. A dear friend reminded us that she came through our house in Virginia on her way to make Aliyah back in 1986! I guess God was operating in this ministry even back then! The testimonies during dinner were marvelous- telling of so many miracles that brought each person to live here. And that the miracles are still going on in their lives to this day!! God IS faithful to keep His Word! We’re grateful to be a part!!

Busy Times
We have found ourselves learning the lesson to be careful to watch out for distractions! So many wonderful, worthy activities to absorb our time. But we are no longer our own. God has an amazing assignment for us- to prepare for the coming, massive Aliyah! Of course the Enemy would send many lovely reasons to do anything BUT our tasks! So, we fast, pray and press in. And for this we covet your prayers. That we FOCUS. The Lord sends us many encouraging guests- from Norway, Poland, South Africa, Holland and more. They help us keep on our path. Like cheerleaders sent to build us up. We so appreciate every one of them!

Preparations
We are busy doing research. Costs of building housing, facility buildings, recreation, gardens, kitchen equipment…. You get the idea. Of course, we need the land before we can build. This week we are planning to go to the far South in the Negev. For this scouting out trip we really need to hear clearly. Please pray for favor, a definitive word and confirmations.
